:: Biography ::

Dai Boggan is a native of Alexandria, VA, and has been performing on stage since the age of 8. Dai started out on stage performing in talent shows in and around the Washington, D.C. area.

On a dare from his older sister Kimberly Boggan, Dai started acting in the 9th grade. He was apart of Mount Vernon High School Drama department for four years and graduated in 1991 as apart of the Thespian National Honor Society, and later went on to major in Fine Art's at Norfolk State University and Howard University.

Dai is a two-time winner at New York City's Amateur Night at the World Famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY. No stranger to television as Dai has starred in music videos, television commercials, and hosted talk shows on public access cable. Dai has also starred in two off Broadway plays, most noted for his role in 1996 in the play The Big Bad Wolf, the life story of Mike Tyson where he stole the show playing the lead role of Mr. Tyson, and earned great reviews from the Washington Post.

Mr. Boggan has won numerous accolades for his work including a national award in 2000 in Las Vegas, NV as apart of the cast Flavors, A Taste of Comedy, a sketch comedy show on public access cable, where he played roles like Minster Louis Farrakhan, the crazy car salesman, and is most recognized as his role of the hilarious Sister Ophelia.

Dai was also seen in BET'S Action Pay Per View comedy special The Michael Colyar Project in 1999.

You can also catch Dai Boggan doing stand up comedy around the Washington D.C. area. Currently, Dai is starring in the stage play Divided We Fall, as Derrell Washington. Dai's dream is to write, act, and direct films and he truly believes that if you believe and trust in The Lord, that all things are possible.
