Most Memorable Moments: The birth of my daughter, Daileigh L. Boggan, and my first big break in the business playing the role of a thug in the Michael Colyer Project on BET’S Action Pay Per View in 1999.
Most Challenging Moment: Going to New York City to audition for director John Singleton for a role in the movie SHAFT. Out of 1,000 actors I was the first to receive a script to come back. Damn I must be good…(LOL).
Shout Outs: To all my family who have stood beside me over the years and supported every project I have been involved in, I love all of you thanks. To my friends, thanks for being there and keep showing love. To DC, Maryland, and Virginia, there is no other place like our area in the world and I’m proud of that, for real. To all my friends in the business, only you know how hard it is to make it in this business, with so many haters trying to keep you down, but I pray all of you will keep your heads up and handle it and please remember come show time, “just do the damn thing”.
R.I.P: To my dad the late George Mack Boggan, I miss you more than words can say but I find comfort and peace in knowing that you are looking down with a smile, you told me I was the one and for the rest of my life I will continue to work hard to prove you right, and I pray I am half the father to my daughter that you were to Kim, Wayne and myself. I love you man. To Peggy Barber and Doris Boggan, my grandmothers, you all know how much I loved you two, and since you have been gone I want you to know the love has only grown stronger, I miss and love you so much. To my grandfather William Jordan, you were my man and you was always there for me when the rest of the world turned their back and I love you for that. Last but not least to my teammate, my brother, my true friend Marlon J. Coleman, you had so much to offer this crazy world but you had even more to offer the Lord, from me and all of the crew we miss you every day and you will never be forgotten. We love you M.C.(MVHS CLASS OF 91’).
